McHenry County Jewish Congregation dues and fees are comparable with those of other synagogues in the Chicago area. MCJC is a non-profit organization that relies primarily on membership dues, school tuition and contributions for support.

A family of four with two children in two-day-a-week religious school will pay dues and tuition of approximately $2,400 a year. A single person may pay as little as $700 a year. New member discounts and senior credits are available. Additional fees are required for B’nai Mitzvah preparation. Members also pay a one-time fee of $1,250 (which can be spread out over five years) to the building fund.

Actual dues are based on family income and types of services desired. Financial assistance is available based on need.
